From Our Pastor
Welcome to the website for Katy’s First Baptist Church! I hope our site is beneficial to you and you can learn more about our congregation. As you get to know us, our prayer is that you will find us to be a body of Christ-followers that is devoted to worshipping the Lord and loving our neighbor. We exist to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of our God.
We celebrate the opportunity to gather regularly as a church. We meet on Sundays and throughout the week to magnify the Lord and strengthen His people. Our principles are grounded in the Bible, and we are committed to honoring Scripture in every facet of church life. We are dedicated to ministry that is centered on biblical preaching, passionate worship through song, small group Bible study, reliant prayer, Christian fellowship, and zealous outreach. My desire is that every member of Katy’s First will thrive in their walk with the Lord.
We are members of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) and partner locally with the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention (SBTC). The doctrinal statement we adhere to is the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
Whether you’ve been walking with Jesus for years or maybe you’re just exploring what it means to be a Christian, one of our greatest joys is meeting unfamiliar faces! We love having guests and we hope you will visit us in person. We have
small group Bible studies on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am and our corporate worship service is at 10:30 am. We provide age-specific Bible studies for children, youth, and adults and we enjoy helping families get plugged in to where you can feel at home.
When you arrive, please let our Greeting Team know that it is your first visit, and we will be delighted to show you around. We also want to give you a gift, just to show how much we appreciate meeting you!
