The First Student Ministry Internship is designed for someone who wants to learn ministry, lead a group and love students. This internship is more than just making copies, filling water balloons and taking the late shift at the lock-in. We want our interns on the front lines, learning to minister and sharing their faith with teenagers. Interns spend time each day learning from a student ministry veteran and others who want to see you equipped for present and future ministry.

Applicants need to demonstrate a growing faith, show signs of leadership and are excited to spend time with teenagers. We are looking for energetic, team players who are flexible with hours and expectations. Ministry takes so many different forms and you will probably experience all of them during these three months.

We ask for approximately 30 hours a week from our interns with set morning meeting times, and afternoons designed to be with students sharing your life, testimony and teaching with them.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please see the attached job description, and application with needs to be completed and returned to Jon Hicks at jhicks@fbckaty.com by April 3rd, 2017.
