Wednesday, May 25th / Parent & Student Summer Meeting / 6pm / CAFE We’ll talk Mission 58 Camp and Mission Trip details. We will discuss VBS volunteering and have a preview of our summer interns for 2016. PLEASE bring your Mission 58 paperwork completed if you have students attending. If your student went to Refuge 2016 we don’t need a church form, we have it on file. If they didn’t attend, they will need both the church form and the Mission 58 form. Those are all available here on the website- links in red on the right!
Wednesday, June 1st / Meet the Interns Night / 6pm / CAFE / Free Pizza! Join us as we celebrate the unofficial start of summer with two amazing new interns. We are blessed to have Mikey Pesqueda with us this summer. Mikey is a graduate of Midwestern State University, and will soon be attending seminary to continue his path to ministry. Jenna Homan just finished her sophomore year at Texas A&M University. She is a Katy kid who also plans to pursue God’s call on her life to ministry. We are blessed to have them working with us this summer!
VBS Voluneteer Meetings / June 1st @ 6:30pm / OR / June 5th @ 4pm / FBC Studio ALL volunteers for VBS must attend one of these two training times. I emphasize MUST. If you haven’t already signed up to work VBS please do so online at fbckaty.com/vbs. (Students: please note if you want to stay the whole evening at Meet the Interns night, plan to attending the meeting on the 5th! Otherwise you will just have to miss some of Meet the Interns…)
